Looks like the Spammers have found this forum. Another forum I participate in use to have a problem with this. We implemented a registration requirement. People wishing to post on the forum need to register and the registration is not automagic. The admin personally enables each one. A little time consuming, but it really reduces the spam because they have to wait. On top of that, if an account posts spam, it is deleted by the admin.

I would be glad to help out if needed.

Sckoarn ;(

I need to check the HTTP logs to see if a new hole has been found in this software... trust me, the spammers have found this website a LONG time ago!

I also need to look into user registration approval...

(sigh)

Hmmmm... looks like they are doing a full user registration.

I'm obscuring the captcha a little more to twart any OCR of the security code: I can't believe the spammers are entreing captchas by hand.

Let's see if that'll be enough.
